Moose

Moose, a purebred black lab,  wandered into Steve and Tara’s yard in November of 2011. After being unable to locate his owner’s Steve and Tara did what they had to do and added Moose to their family. Moose always had a calm demeanor and a love for people. This led Tara to certify Moose with Therapy Dogs International to assist her in her practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a Therapy dog Moose spent many hours in client appointments and has even attended Court proceedings to support victims of abuse. However, like his human counterparts, Moose retired in 2019. In 2023, after turning 13, and his household expanding, Moose enjoys the respite of the office life. Therefore, Moose came out of retirement to continue his career as Keane Thomas & Pinnacoli’s chief companionship officer.

At the ripe age of 13, Moose’s favorite activities consist of eating treats, sleeping, and getting ear rubs.

Our dear Moose crossed the rainbow bridge in the fall of 2023.
