Ileen Sheehan

Transplanted from Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1979.  After coming to Florida, I worked for EF Hutton, the brokerage firm, as I was a Cash/Margin Clerk on Wall Street in NYC.  After a few months, I was hired to work on the final phase of the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant.  That position ended in 1983, when I joined the law firm of McManus, Stewart & Ferraro.  But it wasn’t until I joined Oughterson, Oughterson, Prewitt & Sundheim in 1984, that I started on what would become my career in Florida.  I was handed a Florida Probate Rules Book and was told to read it.  Thus, my career in guardianships and estate administration (probate) truly began.  During my career, I have been privileged to work with some of the best attorneys and law firms, including Alley, Maas, Rogers, et al, & Haile, Shaw & Pfaffenberger, both in Palm Beach county.  Those experiences, after 35 years in this business, has led me to Keane Thomas & Pinnacoli.  This firm tops the list of firms that are up to date with current law pertaining to its area of expertise: Estate Planning, Probate/Guardianship, Medicaid Planning and Real Estate.  It is pretty hard to find a law firm that excels in all these areas, but KTP does.  I am very privileged to be a part of this law firm.  When not working, I enjoy playing with the animals in my life (who needs TV when you have pets?), reading, sewing, cooking and long walks with hubby.
