Steve received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from King’s College, Pennsylvania, and his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg, with Honors. After law school, Steve completed the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. Steve is licensed to practice in the state courts of Florida and Pennsylvania.
Steve takes pride in being able to help both individual clients with small estate plans, and individuals/businesses that require advanced estate and tax planning techniques, including but not limited to credit shelter trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, family limited partnerships, grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified subchapter S trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and charitable giving.
Steve has also assisted clients in handling matters before the Internal Revenue Service, including offers in compromise and payment plans. Steve also has experience in preparing federal income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Steve assists seniors in planning for potential long-term care, and protecting their assets in the event long-term care is needed. Steve recognizes the complexity of the Medicaid statutes, regulations, and application process, and has helped many seniors preserve their assets and apply to obtain the appropriate care they require.
Steve is involved in the community as a board member of the United Way Foundation and Molly’s House, and as a past president of the Martin County Estate Planning Council.
Steve married his wife, Tara, in October 2015, has four children, Alianna, Evie, Sam, and Charlie, his dog, Daisy, and two cats, Beau and Tilly.
